Over five days, HKPAX presented more than 40 outstanding international and local performances while generating numerous discussions on future touring, commissioning, co-production and exchange opportunities among participants from around the world through over 40 curated conversations, exchange and networking activities. HKPAX 2026 enabled participants to build valuable professional relationships, explore new avenues for international collaboration, creating a vibrant platform for discovery and dialogue across the global performing arts sector.
HKPAX also facilitated tangible outcomes for Hong Kong’s arts sector, including the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) by Hong Kong arts groups Toolbox Percussion and TS Crew with international counterparts in Singapore and the USA during HKPAX 2026. These partnerships will support future performance exchanges and cross-national collaboration opportunities, demonstrating HKPAX’s success in connecting Hong Kong arts groups with international partners and creating new opportunities for global engagement.
The success of HKPAX 2026 is attributed to the dedicated support of the HKSAR Government, the active participation of the local arts and cultural community, and the assistance and sponsorship from various organisations. This includes the China Merchants Foundation for sponsoring the Closing Reception event and Student Pass, as well as Hong Kong Tourism Board for arranging performance at the Closing Reception.
